Harvard Lampoon Spoofs My Syllabus
For most of the past twenty years, I have taught an undergraduate economics course at Harvard called “A Libertarian Perspective on Economic, Social, and Foreign Policy.” The course typically enrolls about 250 students.
Separately, the Harvard Lampoon has a long-standing practice of spoofing popular courses by handing out fake syllabi as students arrive for the first class.
This past Wednesday, they “got” me:
Naturally I was delighted, since all publicity is good publicity. The course will address most issues raised by the spoof.
